All competitors
must sign a registration form verifying that they fully understand and will
comply with all rules before competing. NO EXCEPTIONS.

HobbyTown USA®, its
employees or its agents, Chesapeake Square Shopping Center, Fedder
Management, its employees or its agents there of, will not be held
responsible for any theft, damages, or injuries to competitors, spectators,
or their equipment before, during and after each event.

Rules can be
altered at anytime with a majority ruling of
HobbyTown USA® management
and the Race Director. All decisions made by the Race Director are final.

Violation of below said
rules will result in loss of points and up to including loss of race
privileges for that day’s competition. Repeat violations will result in an
indefinite suspension.

Any violation
resulting in loss of points will not count as season throw out week!

Willful destruction
or damage to a competitor’s equipment by competitors or competitors
support crew is not acceptable.

Willful destruction
or damage to any HobbyTown USA® equipment
including but not limited to track components, trailer equipment, lap
counting equipment or parking lot by competitors or competitors’ support
crew is not acceptable.

Abusive or foul
language by competitors or competitor’s support crew is not acceptable.

Radio channels must
be registered before that day’s competition. Competitors will be required
to have at least one backup channel. If conflict exists, the driver signing
up first will receive preference. Once qualifying is completed, channel
preference will be given to better qualifying driver.

Transmitter
should have
Driver’s name visible on outside.

All Children,
including racers, under 16 yrs of age must be
accompanied by
an parent 0r guardian at all times.

Transponders are to be
mounted in the lower windshield area or a pre-approved chassis
location. The driver is
responsible for turning in the transponder and his / her radio immediately following
each race! Replacement cost for each transponder is $150.00. In case of a
lost transponder, the last driver to have the transponder is liable. NO IF’S, AND’S or
BUT’s. PERIOD

Each driver must
turn marshal, the race immediately following his/her race. If scheduled for
last race of the day, then last race drivers will marshal the first race of
the day.

If
the driver is
competing in more than one class, he or she must provide someone to turn
marshal in his/her place.

No
Marshaling = No Points! And / or Racing privileges
can and will be revoked!

Yelling, hollering,
whether foul and/or abusive language is used or not, toward the turn
marshals will not be tolerated. Remember the turn marshals did not put your
vehicle into the wall or upside down, you did!

Drivers must qualify
through heat races to receive points for Mains.
Cars must make a minimum of two laps to receive points for that
nights main. Number of Mains will vary as needed to fill field.

Drivers must remain on Drivers Stand @ all times
during a race. If your vehicle breaks, it is the duties of a Marshall to
remove the vehicle from the track. Not to fix your car or to bring it to
you.

Electric vehicle races
are to be five (5) minutes
long. At the end of the 5th minute,
drivers will be permitted to finish current lap. Mains are to be five (5)
minutes.

FEES:
Rookies $10.00 per car per day, all others: $15.00 per car per day. If
driver has a DPTx The cost is $12.00 for that
vehicle

Ride
Height: Minimum ride height is 130mm to the top of the roof with
chassis sitting on 20mm blocks. (ROAR)

Wing not to be higher than roof.

Bodies:
All cars /
trucks must have a body on the vehicle when on the track. Even
during practice! All
bodies must be painted.

Breakage during race:
If damage to a vehicle is not obvious to the driver or to Race Management.
When damage to a vehicle is obvious to Race Management, to include turn
marshals, Driver will be asked to remove the car from track. If the driver
continues to race and doesn’t remove the car no points will be awarded for
that night.

Failure
to pass tech
during heat race will disqualify driver from receiving T.Q. point.

Tech
Failures: Heats
and Mains:
Minor: ride height. Loss
of two (2) points each offence. Major: Illegal equipment. Loss of ten (10)
points.

Rain: A
rain delay can and will be called due to a sudden rain storm, or the first
sight of lightning. Lightning is a very serious threat to you. If you can
see lightning it can and will strike. Remember, you are carrying around a
lightning rod, put the antenna down first, then seek cover. A rain delay
will not exceed one (1) hour. If the night‘s rain out happens during the
heat races, The mains will be run @ 1pm sharp the following week, this will
be before that week’s event. If the night‘s rain out happens once we
break after the heat races the mains are set and points will be awarded by
the standings in the heats.
